Following the success of their recent investment in 15 Sprinter vans and 9 coachbuilt Sprinters from Mellor, East Riding of Yorkshire Council have again chosen Mellor to supply an additional 9 coachbuilt Sprinters.

East Riding of Yorkshire Council purchased the vehicles to be utilised for Education and Social Services providing essential support to the day centres and special needs schools across the region.

The easily accessible Sprinters provide a luxurious ride with the cost saving advantage of lower fuel consumption and reduced emissions.

The Sprinters built for East Riding of Yorkshire Council include a power operated single leaf glider door, 7G-TRONIC PLUS 7-speed gear box, tachograph, cab air conditioning system, 2 x manual rear doors and rear step, driver’s partition handpole with glass screen and night blind, locker complete with private lock sited above driver’s seat, cant rail tracking, bodyside mounted tracking, Ricon tailift, combined OE radio equipment and colour reversing camera.
