Willow Wood purpose built Hospice provides specialist Palliative Care to those suffering with life-threatening illnesses. The Hospice first opened its doors in May 1999. Since then, the Hospice has cared for more than 2,000 patients and their families.
Willow Wood chose Mellor for their coach conversion to help them to provide their patients with the support required to maintain their identity, dignity and independence whilst also supporting their family, friends and carers.
The Fiat Ducato coach conversion provided 12 seats or up to 4 wheel chairs and for ease of access the floor was completely flat and was based on an AL-KO single rear axle super low chassis frame. Large rear bonded glass doors to maintain full visibility at the rear. Eberspacher climate system and Ratcliff tail lift is fitted inside at the rear of the saloon.
